The Agriculture Ministry will be expanding its scholarship offerings for high school students who wish to pursue tertiary-level education.
Portfolio Minister Floyd Green said he will announce details of the scholarships during his Sectoral Debate presentation in May.
He was speaking at the recent Jamaica 4-H Clubs’ National Achievement Expo held at the Denbigh 4-H Centre in Clarendon.
Minister Green said it is his belief that agriculture students should not have to worry about paying for their studies.
