Lilianya Erivin of Lexington Senior High is one of two recipients of the Lucille Yarborough Alice Henderson Memorial Scholarship. She is pictured with Jessinna Wilkins of the Lexington (NC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Two Davidson County high school students recently received the 2025-26 Lucille Yarborough Alice Henderson Memorial Scholarship from the Lexington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
The two recipients are Lilianya Ervin and Aleeya Parham.
Ervin is the daughter of Lynn Kennedy and currently attends Lexington Senior High School. She has had numerous academic achievements while maintaining a high GPA. She participates in athletic activities at school and devotes some of her time to community service events, including volunteering at many sports events.
She plans to attend the University of Mount Olive in eastern North Carolina and major in exercise science. Ervin plans to go to graduate school to pursue a doctorate degree in physical therapy.
Parham is the daughter of Joseph and Karen Parham and currently attends West Davidson High School. She has had numerous academic achievements while maintaining a high GPA. She volunteers many hours to projects that benefit various groups throughout her community.
She plans to attend East Carolina University in Greenville to major in accounting.
