American Bank & Trust (AB&T) is proud to announce the awarding of 33 scholarships valued at $1,000 each to graduating high school seniors across the bank’s footprint as part of its ongoing commitment to investing in their communities and the future.
The scholarship program, which is open to graduating high school seniors, supports students who plan to attend an accredited college, university, vocational school, or community college on a full-time basis in South Dakota, North Dakota, or Minnesota.
“Our vision goes beyond daily transactions – we’re here to create meaningful opportunities and make a lasting impact,” said Scott Erickson, President & Chief Executive Officer at American Bank & Trust. “This scholarship program is one of the many ways we invest in the future of our communities and support the success of the next generation.”
By recognizing and supporting students in their pursuit of higher education, the scholarship program reflects AB&T’s dedication to inspiring growth, fostering opportunity, and making a meaningful difference – both inside and outside of its bank branches. By removing financial barriers and recognizing academic potential, the program empowers students to pursue higher education and reach their goals – whether in business, healthcare, skilled trades, or other vital industries.
The 2025 recipients were selected from a highly qualified pool of applicants and represent a diverse range of backgrounds and career paths.
“We believe that education is one of the most powerful tools for growth,” added Erickson. “It’s our honor to celebrate these students and help launch them into a bright future.”
