ENTERPRISE – District 6 of the American Legion is hosting an oratorical scholarship program for local high school students on January 18, 2025. Like previous oratorical events, the subject will be related to the U.S. constitution, giving local students the opportunity to receive unique scholarships and learn more about U.S. history. As written in a recent notice from the American Legion:
“The American Legion District 6 is honored to bring our community together to prepare our next generation to learn and appreciate the history of this great nation!”
The actual oratorical contest will be held on January 18, 2025, in the VFW Hall at 800 North River Street in Enterprise. The contest will last from approximately 10:00 a.m. to noon. For more information, contact District 6 Commander Randy J. Tye at 763-742-2401.
