SUNBURY – A regional Penn State alumni chapter is offering scholarships to help local students with college expenses. The Anthracite Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is accepting applications for the 2025 Edward M. Griffiths, II, Memorial Scholarship.
They say they’ll be awarding three $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors in Northumberland County. Eligible students must be accepted to any Penn State campus, including Penn College, for Summer or Fall 2025.
Selection is based on academics, financial need, and community involvement. Applications are available in school guidance offices and must be received by May 2.
