PARKMAN — The Parkman Grange is now accepting applications for the 2025 Minnie Welts Bridge Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship awards $500 to one or more deserving SAD 4 graduates pursuing post-high school education.
Eligibility: SAD 4 residency, completion of at least one post-high school education term and enrollment in the upcoming term.
Applications are available at the Parkman Town Office or the Grange Hall porch bulletin board. Submit completed forms to the town office by June 14 or by mail (PO Box 114, Guilford ME 04443, postmarked no later than June 14). Winners will be announced in July.
Minnie Bridge (1909–2011), a lifelong Parkman resident, schoolteacher and life-member of the Parkman Grange, inspired the creation of this scholarship fund. Since its inception, the fund has awarded $18,000 to deserving SAD 4 graduates.
