LE MARS, Iowa (KTIV) – Three scholarships will open in the spring for high school students looking to pursue a medical career.
On Thursday, Feb. 6, the Floyd Valley Auxiliary of Le Mars, Iowa announced it will be awarding three $2,000 “tuition only” scholarships to students in the Le Mars area.
“We are excited to be able to provide these scholarships each year to students pursuing healthcare degrees,” said Auxiliary Scholarship co-chairs Michelle Connor and Vicki Dixon.
To be considered eligible, those who apply:
Students interested in applying for the scholarship may get the application form with qualifying information from their high school guidance counselor, at the healthcare’s gift shop or online.
Floyd Valley Healthcare says auxiliary yearly dues for members and other fundraising help provide funding each year.
The applications will be accepted in the spring of 2025.
