If you’ve ever thought of becoming an EMT, now is your chance to have some financial assistance to do so.
Applications are now being accepted for Sheboygan and Manitowoc County students to apply for the George Sippel Memorial EMS Scholarship. The $1000 educational award is being offered to those enrolled or enrolling in an EMS training program at Fox Valley Technical College, Lakeshore Technical College, Moraine Park Technical College, or Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
The one-time award is a tribute to Sippel, who dedicated his life to helping others as a volunteer EMT and firefighter in Plymouth.
