The Kerrville Public Utility Board is now accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program. Scholarships are offered for both undergraduate and trade school/technical students.
Two $1,500 scholarships are available for undergraduates, each renewable up to four years for a total of up to $6,000 overall.
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who are enrolling for the first time in a full-time course of study at an accredited private or public college or university in the state of Texas.
All applications for the undergraduate scholarships must be received by Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, to be eligible for consideration.
Two $1,000 trade school or technical student scholarships also are offered this year, each renewable for two years for a total of up to $2,000.
This scholarship is open for applicants year-round and has no application deadline.
“KPUB is proud to continue our tradition of supporting local students through these scholarships. By investing in the education of our youth, we’re helping to build a brighter future for our entire community,” said Allison Bueché, KPUB director of customer and community relations.
