Replay: Brother Martin-Holy Cross playoff baseball series (Games 2 and 3)

It was an outstanding season for Archbishop Shaw basketball.
The Eagles reached the Division II Select state championship game under Wesley Laurendine, who is departing to take over the Brother Martin program.
Laurendine and the Eagles celebrated the signing of two key players from the excellent team today.
Kobe Butler signed with Jackson State while Khalil Awogboro inked with Delgado.
The 6-foot-7 Butler earned first team All-state honors and was the District 9-4A Most Valuable Player. Butler also received All-Clarion Herald and All-Metro recognition.
Butler averaged 15.7 points, 11.5 rebounds three blocks, 1.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

Awogboro (5-11) earned All-District 9-5A honors, averaging 15.5 points, 3.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
