With the rising cost of higher education making it harder to achieve some of their dreams, Sheboygan County high school seniors can ease the burden through scholarships. The Sheboygan Public Education Foundation is encouraging those students to apply for one of its 59 available scholarships. The application deadline is Friday, February 21st.
Last year, the SPEF awarded an impressive $1.2 million to help students ease the financial burden of college and career training. Most of the awards were designated for Sheboygan Area School District seniors, with select opportunities available for seniors across Sheboygan County. The scholarships cover a wide range of studies from technical school programs to pre-med.
Sheboygan Public Education Foundation Director Roaxanne Pauls praised Sheboygan as “an incredibly generous city that values the power of education and giving back,” adding that the scholarships reflect the deep commitment of the community to support students and their dreams.
