SRP Federal Credit Union had two proud team members as their children were announced as the 2024 winners of the Ed Templeton Scholarship and the Larry Pridemore Scholarship. These scholarships have been set up by the Board of Directors of SRP and are awarded annually to the children of a full-time team member. The parents of the scholarship recipients this year were Molly Jones, small business services manager, and Keewanna Swain, branch manager of the SRP Tobacco Road Branch.
The $2,500 Ed Templeton Scholarship, named in honor of SRP Federal Credit Union’s past president retired, was awarded to Luke Jones. Luke graduated from Aiken High School and is attending the Citadel where he majors in Construction Engineering.
The $1,000 Larry Pridemore Scholarship, honoring retired board member Larry Pridemore, was presented to Kaylin Swain. Kaylin was a graduate of the Lakeside High School. She is attending Georgia Southern University as a business major.
“It is always exciting to recognize and award scholarships to the accomplished students of our team members,” said Eric Jenkins, CEO of SRP. “Congratulations to the winners of this year’s scholarship competition. We wish them success as they continue their academic careers.”
