Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police awards scholarships to 28 students – Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

The Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police on Friday awarded scholarships to 28 students with law enforcement ties as part of a program the group launched this year.
The association awarded the $1,000 grants to students with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher who are members of the association, the spouse or descendant of a member or the child of an Arkansas law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty, a Friday news release states.
Thirty people applied for the grants under the association’s recently launched scholarship program, the release states. The recipients are set to be honored at a luncheon Monday at the Central Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in Benton.
The recipients are Addyson Stover, Anastasiya Kelley, Asheigh Baker, Aubrey Hill, Braxton Haywood, Caden Hunt, Cailyn Smith, Christopher Workman, Daven Parker, Dominic Parkinson, Grant McNew, Haydyn Friend, Jade Boen, Jared Eddington, John Parkinson, Lance McNew, Lauren Dodd, Liem Taylor, Mackenize Graves, Mason Minden, Noah Ottman, Pacer Drake, Raven James, Shelly Ross, Taylor Ezell, Troy Graham, Tyler Green and Xander Graves, the release states.
