Former Bryant offensive lineman Brooks Edmonson has been put on scholarship by Arkansas coach Sam Pittman, according to a source.
Edmonson, 6-4 and 313 pounds, was told of his scholarship by Pittman during an exit meeting Dec. 5.
He played on special teams in eight games this season as a redshirt sophomore. He saw action on the offensive line against Louisiana Tech on Nov. 23.
During the 2023 season, Edmonson played in 11 games and was primarily used on special teams. He saw action on the offensive line against Florida International last year and he redshirted in 2022.
Edmonson, who scored a 30 on the ACT, was committed to Princeton before accepting a preferred walk-on offer from Arkansas. He also had offers from Kansas, Louisiana-Monroe, Pennsylvania, Columbia, Dartmouth, Georgetown and Middle Tennessee.
Tight end Maddox Lassiter of Warren also earned a scholarship recently after walking on.
