LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A non-profit organization that helps families drive through barriers that come with pursuing education sat down with Isley Gooden of Little Rock Arc to discuss its mission.
Will Piggee, ASPSF 2024 scholarship recipient along with Jen Lawrence of the organization discussed its impact and its scholarship deadline.
"December 1, you've got to apply for a scholarship for next semester. you go online and apply and if accepted, the single parent will receive up to 1600 dollars," said Lawrence.
"They can use that for any financial obstacle in the way of getting their degree."
