JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Arkansas State men’s basketball looks to be set for the 2024-25 campaign, with the Red Wolves gaining commits from forwards Kameron and Justin Johnson Friday afternoon.

Justin, 6-8, spent this season at Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut, leading the Mustangs in points (15.6 points per game) and steals (1.6 per game), getting named the Power 5AAA Player of the Year and first-team all-conference in the New England Basketball League. The team finished as the Power 5AAA Champion, the NEBL Champion, and the National Prep runner-up.

Kameron, 6-7, joins the Red Wolves as a walk-on after playing two seasons at the JUCO ranks, averaging 10.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game across 30 games and 21 starts this season at Collin College in Texas. He shot 48 percent from the field and had a season-high 26 points against Texas Wesleyan in November. Johnson, the Miami native, spent his first year of eligibility at Murray State College in Oklahoma, playing 30 games and averaging over 6 points and 3 rebounds per game.
