Eight years ago, I took a leap of faith and founded We Are HER. What started as a small blog where survivors shared their stories anonymously has grown into a wonderful community dedicated to healing, connection, and empowerment. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come, and I am so proud to know everyone who has become a part of the We Are HER family.
Over the past eight years, we’ve shared countless stories, fostered a safe space for survivors to connect, and provided education and resources to those on their healing journeys. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our incredible community – you. Your belief in our work has made it possible for survivors like you to find their voices and feel seen, heard, and valued.
As we celebrate our 8th anniversary, I’m filled with gratitude for the many people who have helped build this community. Together, we’ve grown from a blog to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that continues to support survivors across the globe. And while we’ve made great strides, there is still so much more to do. With your continued support, we’ll keep pushing forward, expanding our reach and deepening our impact.

Apply now for a MENTAL HEALTH SCHOLARSHIP: The application is open NOW until Monday, November 4, 2024!
We Are HER’s mental health scholarships are for survivors:
• of any gender who are over the age of 18,
• who have a financial or economic need,
• who express a desire and willingness to seek therapy from a licensed mental health provider,
• who are not in immediate danger or crisis,
• who are able to share in their application the specific ways in which winning the scholarship would aid in their healing journey.
Applicants will be notified in November of the status of their application. A huge thank you to the Keep Dreaming Big Project for sponsoring this program.
