Four Arkansas Tech University students are among the 2025-26 Arkansas Tourism and Hospitality Education Foundation (ATHEF) scholarship recipients.
ATU’s Jaclyn Jasnocha, Paula Lerma, Aarah Shannon and Madison Sites were selected for the honor, which is reserved for students enrolled in a full-time or part-time higher education culinary or hospitality related program.
Since 1999, the ATHEF has awarded over $900,000 in scholarships to support the educational and professional advancement of aspiring culinary and hospitality professionals.
The ATU tourism program prepares students for careers in fields such as hospitality and lodging, wildlife and nature tourism, cultural tourism, travel and transportation, eco-tourism, events and entertainment, outdoor adventure, economic development and outdoor recreation.
