The Austin Area Foundation has announced the awarding of scholarships to students from the area.
The Austin Area Foundation Scholarship for Education majors has been awarded to Nadia Souvannarath. Souvannarath is an Education major at Riverland Community College.
The Rick Herreid Science Scholarship has been awarded to Mackenzie Andrews, who is a biology major focused on insect biology at Purdue University.
And finally, the Carl and Stella Ruzek Scholarship has been awarded to Reese Norton and Anna Kossman. Norton is a criminology major and will attend PennWest Clarion University in the fall. Kossman will major in Kinesiology at the University of Northern Iowa.
