The Avondale Municipal Art Committee is calling on talented graduating high school seniors to showcase their artistic abilities in the 2025 Achieving Artists High School Scholarship Art Contest.

The contest, open from March 6 to April 6, 2025, provides students with the opportunity to earn college scholarship funds and have their artwork publicly recognized.
Students are encouraged to submit original pieces that highlight both creativity and technical skill. The top three entries will be awarded scholarships:
- 1st Place: $2,000
- 2nd Place: $1,500
- 3rd Place: $1,000
Winning submissions will be unveiled at an awards ceremony on May 6, 2025, which will be held at Estrella Mountain Community College to honor the young artists for their achievements.
