Seventy students from 32 schools, including 38 primary and 33 secondary schools, were awarded full tuition scholarships under the BSP Schools Scholarship Scheme 2025, a program designed to support families facing financial challenges.
“Education is the foundation of a brighter future, and we are proud to be part of that journey for these students,” said BSP Country Manager Tunumafono Jennifer Fruean.
This year’s scholarships, valued at $45,000, will cover the students’ full tuition fees for the academic year.
The annual initiative has become a beacon of hope for parents and children alike. With over 150 applications received this year, the program continues to highlight the importance of ensuring every child has access to education.
At the award ceremony held on Thursday 13 February at the BSP main office, Tunumafono shared the organisation’s heartfelt mission.
“Every year, BSP awards these scholarships to help families place their children in school. This is our commitment to developing our community and ensuring a continuous education for our children.”
Parents and students expressed their joy and gratitude during the event, which marked not just a financial relief but also an investment in their dreams. The BSP Schools Scholarship Scheme continues to pave the way for future leaders, proving that with the right support, every child can succeed.
