IPSWICH — BankGloucester has awarded Ipswich’s Claire Kelly with a $2,500 scholarship.
Kelly, a graduate of the class of 2025, is a freshman at James Madison University. She is majoring in pediatric speech pathology.
Each year, BankGloucester provides a total of $12,500 in scholarships to five outstanding local students, recognizing graduating seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities.
“Supporting the educational goals of local students is one of the most meaningful ways we can invest in the future of our community,” said Patrick Thorpe, president and CEO of BankGloucester. “These scholarship represent more than financial assistance — they are an investment in the promise and potential of the next generation. We’re confident that each of this year’s recipients will go on to accomplish great things while strengthening the communities they touch.”
