Bayfield student earns $3,000 MROO Scholarship – 90.5 Exeter Today

A Bayfield student is being recognized for her hard work and community involvement. Hannah Gilbert has been awarded a $3,000 scholarship from the Municipal Retirees Organization of Ontario (MROO).
Hannah is studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is one of five students in Zone 2 to receive a scholarship this year, with a total of $16,000 awarded to students from Formosa, London, Simcoe, and Bayfield.
MROO awards scholarships each year to students who are family members of current members. Winners are chosen based on their leadership skills, volunteer work, and dedication to making a difference in their communities.
