BELDING — Graduating seniors at Belding High School have received scholarships from local organizations.
The Belding American Legion Post 203 awarded scholarships on May 15.
The Post recognized Devon Phillips, who has enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps. Phillips received a congratulatory certificate and the Marine Corps Challenge Coin.
The Post also recognized five graduates with scholarship certificates:
“We congratulate all of these students and wish them true success going forward,” the Post wrote in a statement.
The Belding Gardeneers also awarded scholarships to Lynn and Patten.

Belding’s graduation ceremony took place on May 16. The commencement ceremony was streamed on YouTube.
