Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation is expanding its Scholarship Highway program to benefit more college-bound high school students in Brunswick and Columbus counties.
Previously the cooperative has awarded scholarships to two high school seniors per year. According to a Dec. 16 news release, BEMC is expanding the program in 2025 to award seven $2,000 scholarships, totalling $14,000 in educational support annually.
