TRI-CITIES, Wash. — The Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo Association is preparing for its annual event, months in advance, by offering $10,000 in scholarships to local students involved in organizations such as 4-H and Future Farmers of America (FFA).
The association is offering three different scholarships. Two are designated for high school seniors graduating this year who participated in last year's fair, and another is available for students aged eight and up who are showing large livestock for the first time.
