State Senate President Bo Biteman (SD-21) spoke with Sheridan Media again this week, touching on a scholarship currently assigned to a joint conference committee, and what to expect from legislators this week.
He gave an update on the Freedom Scholarship bill, which has been renamed.
Biteman spoke on other legislation lawmakers will be focused on this week.
Biteman added that the two obvious pieces of legislation that everyone in the state seems to be watching are the Property Tax Exemption bill and the Universal School Choice bill, and he said more news should be coming soon on both of those issues.
We will hear more from Senator Bo Biteman in upcoming stories.
This year’s Legislative Session is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, March 6.
