We strongly believe that partnering with and investing in these students will help shape their future endeavors and will help build a prosperous and thriving community.”
Expand Energy’s commitment extends beyond scholarships; the company also provides paid internships to BPCC students and actively participates in the college’s Advisory Board and Employer Night events. This partnership strengthens the connection between education and workforce needs, ensuring students are well-prepared for their careers.
Kevin Rubio Rivera, one of the scholarship recipients, expressed his appreciation for the support: “My program director introduced me to Expand Energy at one of the employer visits,” said Rivera. “I interviewed for the paid internships, and I’ve already secured a full-time job before even graduating.”
