Bradford Scholarship Foundation Luncheon held at the Ledges Ballroom – WAFF

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – What would our world be without music?
That’s why on Thursday, supporters, fundraisers, and friends of the Bradfords gathered at the Ledges ballroom for the Bradford Scholarship Foundation Luncheon.
The foundation was created to inspire and empower the next generation of students in music excellence at Alabama A&M University.
Three students who not only excel in the classroom but also in the music program received $1,500 scholarships to continue their studies.
“By giving these scholarships with their support is just something [that will] further their education and development for many, many years to come.”
WAFF 48’s Margo Gray emceed Thursday’s event.
Founded in 2016, the scholarship continues to support the legacy of the Bradfords, Dr. Henry and Nell Lane Bradford, who served the Alabama A&M University Music Department for over 50 years.
