VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Braxton Hartley, a Warren Central High School baseball player, has earned his first collegiate scholarship offer. Hartley announced on social media that Hinds Community College has extended him his first official opportunity to play at the next level.
Last season, Hartley played a key role as the Vikings’ catcher under head coach Randy Broome. He helped guide Warren Central to the North State Championship series and contributed to the program’s third consecutive district title.
A junior who attends River City Early College, Hartley still has two full seasons left to compete for the Vikings. While he has received his first offer, he has not yet committed and is expected to continue drawing attention from college programs as his high school career continues to be spotlighted.
