Rochester, N.Y. — Our Bright Spot shines on a big boost for local students getting ready for the next step in their education.
For the 10th consecutive year, ESL Federal Credit Union has awarded 10 college-bound high school students with $2,000 scholarships.
“This year’s scholars are positively impacting their communities throughout the Greater Rochester region in meaningful ways, and we are pleased to support them as they continue their pursuits into higher education," Rich Pulvino, ESL's vice president/director of marketing, said in a statement.
The money was awarded through the ESL College Scholarship program.
The students, which come from eight different schools in the area, are:
