The Brundidge Rotary Club honored the nominees for the club’s annual scholarships at the club’s Wednesday meeting at Brundidge Methodist Church.
The scholarship recipients will be announced at the club’s meeting on Wednesday, April, 30 at the historic Bass House in downtown Brundidge.
Rotarian Don Dickert said this year will be the 32 year the club has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors at local high schools.
The first year was 1994 and club awarded two scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each.
After this year, the Brundidge Rotary Club will have awarded 174 scholarships totaling $173,000 to high school graduates in the local area.
The 2025 Brundidge Rotary Club Scholarship nominees are Laila Bryant, Qualiyah Caffie and Ra’vianna McKinney, Pike County High School; Brodie Davis, Olivia Lee and Carlee McAllister, Zion Chapel High School; Ella Marie Bullock and Adelynn, Ariton High School; and Sydney Scott, Kade Brookin and Jackson Booth; Pike Liberal Arts School.
The Rotarians expressed congratulations to the nominees and expressed confidence in their abilities to achieve their goals and be contributing members of the communities they serve.
