On April 9, 2025, California Alcoholic Beverage Control Agents (CABCA) announced its scholarship awards to five students, each of them a CABCA member’s child.
“The CABCA board of directors is pleased that we were able to set aside money to help our members with the cost of higher education,” said CABCA President Bryant Pender. “We were impressed by the applications of our recipients and wish them the very best as they pursue their education and career goals. Our CABCA members should be extremely proud of their children. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the scholarship committee for their dedication and efforts in making this program a resounding success. We look forward to the opportunity of continuing this initiative in the future.”
“The CABCA scholarship committee was overwhelmed by some of the great things our member’s dependents are doing,” said CABCA Secretary Vincent Johnston. “They seem to be following in their parents’ shoes with countless hours of community service, hard work, and dedication to a better life. After reading the applications the committee was left with a renewed hope in the future of our next generation.”
