Mediacom Communications has announced that Eli Stevens, a senior at Caldwell County High School, has been selected as a recipient of the company’s World Class Scholarship Program.
Officials said the $1,000 scholarship recognizes the Princeton resident for excellence in leadership and academics.
In a written statement, Jeff Brown, Mediacom’s Area Operations Director, emphasized the company’s commitment to investing in future leaders like Eli Stevens. He expressed pride in Mediacom’s annual dedication to supporting talented local students through the World Class Scholarship Program. Brown extended congratulations to all Class of 2025 graduates, with special recognition of Stevens’ outstanding achievements.
Mediacom’s Senior Vice President of Operations, Product Strategy, and Consumer Experience, Tapan (tall-pon) Dandnaik (dan-ni-eck), stated that the company’s corporate philosophy extends beyond mere business success. He emphasized their deep commitment to fostering the potential of young minds, recognizing that investments in student development help lay the foundation for a brighter and more promising future for all.
According to company officials, this year marks the 24th consecutive year Mediacom has funded World Class Scholarships for students who live in areas where the company delivers high-speed broadband services. Each year, they said, Mediacom selects 60 graduating seniors who each receive scholarships to support their post-secondary education. Upon receiving the scholarship, recipients are required to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or technical school within the United States
