Three high school seniors received about $1,500 each in scholarships from the Caldwell Rotary Club.
The scholarships were presented Tuesday during the Caldwell Rotary Club meeting.
Seniors who received the scholarships include Emily Bradley of Hibriten High School, and Caldwell Early College High School graduates Ava Aldridge and Leah Shay Alston-Isbell, said Bruce Cannon, Rotary Club scholarship committee chairman.
“Each May, our club awards partial scholarships … to three Caldwell County high school seniors,” said Kent Spears, Rotary Club member.
“One recipient is selected from each high school district. That allows Caldwell Early College High School kids to be eligible to apply.”
Spears said the partial scholarships are “part of what our club does to further education of Caldwell County youth.”
