The Calhoun National Alumni Association is sponsoring its Annual Scholarship Banquet on Sunday, August 31, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Evans Pavilion, 2964 Birmingham Highway in Montgomery. All Calhoun Alumni and friends are cordially invited to share in this afternoon of fine dining, fun and fellowship. 
For 150-=plus years, the alumni association has supported the communities of Lowndes County by awarding numerous scholarships to various high school graduates. The award of these scholarships was possible due to the generous contributions of alumni. 
All proceeds from the event will be used to benefit the scholarship fund. Tickets are $50 per person and must be purchased by August 20.
