The Frosty Frolic Mon River Romp is a major fundraiser for the California Area School District Foundation.

Nineteen California Area High School 2024 graduates walked away with 23 scholarships worth $14,000 provided by the California Area School District Foundation.
The scholarships were awarded at the annual May Day Ceremony before the end of the school year.
All monies are raised by generous donations and fundraising opportunities, especially through the CALSDF premier fundraiser, The Frosty Frolic Mon River Romp.
Students must meet specific qualifications set forth by each scholarship. They range in scope from academic to technical scholarships and are provided in names of families, memorials, and alumni/organizations.
The California Area School District Foundation was formed to encourage and promote high-quality programs and expand the educational opportunities of all members of the California Area School District. The Foundation seeks to develop resources through community involvement and support for learners of all ages.
The Foundation is comprised of community volunteers who serve as a Board of Trustees. This group meets regularly to work toward achieving the Foundation’s goals and to raise and distribute funds.

• Kera Urick, California Area School District Foundation Scholarship

• Alexandra Ross, Class of 1972 Memorial Scholarship
