The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) program is now accepting applications. Canadian post-secondary institutions must apply online on behalf of eligible candidates.
In the context of Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy, SEED contributes to strengthening people-to-people ties between Canada and the Indo-Pacific region.
Global Affairs Canada is offering scholarships for students from member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The scholarship supports short-term study or research in Canadian post-secondary institutions. The study or research must contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Scholarships are tenable for the Fall 2025 term only. Future opportunities under the SEED program will be announced later.
For more information, visit: Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED).
Faculty interested in hosting students through either of these programs should contact ors.int@dal.ca for more information.
Please note that foreign students and faculty cannot apply directly for these awards. Applications will be facilitated by the Office of Research Services. Dal supervisors must contact ORS for a copy of the application and instructions on how to apply.
