Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) – Concordia University

The SEED program provides undergraduate and graduate students, from member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), with scholarship opportunities for short-term research or course-oriented exchanges.
The SEED program aims to contributes to strengthening people-to-people ties between Canada and the Indo-Pacific region and to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Students’ applications must therefore be directly aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Concordia application deadline: March 17, 2025
Only Canadian institutions can submit applications to EduCanada. Therefore, students must first submit their application documents to Concordia University. Concordia will then apply for the scholarship on the student’s behalf.
To be eligible, candidates must be citizens and enrolled full-time at post-secondary institution in an ASEAN member state:

Concordia University has established its own internal deadline for receiving applications which is two weeks before the official SEED Scholarship deadline.

Failure to meet these deadlines may result in the rejection of the application.
Please note that only Canadian institutions can submit applications to Global Affairs Canada. Therefore, students must first apply with Concordia. Concordia will then apply for the scholarship on the student’s behalf.

Before beginning your application, you must find a professor who accepts to supervise your research exchange at Concordia University.
