A grant by the Canada Post Community Foundation is open for applications, and its aim is to help improve the lives of Canadian children.
Through this foundation, they will be providing various project grants valued up to $25,000 each, three $50,000 Signature Grants, and an Indigenous Truth and Reconciliation Signature Grant, which is worth $50,000.
The Indigenous Truth and Reconciliation Signature Grant will be awarded for educational programming that is anchored in Indigenous truth and reconciliation.
The money for these grants comes through the sale of a special stamp, employee payroll deductions, and customer donations made at the post office, and the grants help to support numerous initiatives, such as literacy and language programs, youth outreach services, gender diversity programs, projects that support Indigenous youth, arts and recreation projects, and more.

Through the Community Foundation, they raise and distribute money to programs that will help to enrich communities across Canada and help underfunded projects.
Since 2012, this foundation has provided $14.8 million in grant money to over 1,300 projects.
Applications are open until the end of February.
