“We’re lucky to live in an area that prioritizes learning, and we have a duty to continue that legacy. Whether it’s a student pursuing the next step in their education or a company and its employees coming together to support the next generation, we all have a part to play. It’s a pleasure to assist these bright young scholars as they head off for the halls of higher education.”
Celina Insurance Group and its employees offer the scholarship program to graduating seniors who plan to attend a four-year college or university. Area students were eligible to apply for a scholarship, as were children and grandchildren of current Celina employees. The top three applicants won based on an essay about the role of property and casualty insurance in society.
