DULUTH, Minn. — The Swenson School of Engineering is rolling out 50 new scholarship opportunities for students.
The announcement coming Thursday outside of UMD.
A total of 50 engineering scholarships will be provided over the next five years.
Dr. Wendy Reed, the Dean of the Swenson School of Engineering, has a goal for every UMD engineering student to receive a scholarship.
“We have a goal in Swanson College to try to raise $3,000 for 3,000 students. So we would like to promise that all 3,000 students at Swanson College to have a $3,000 scholarship. Cenovus has really kicked us off really well with this to be able to meet those goals,” said Reed.
