JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) -The past presidents of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce partner with the University of Jamestown and Jamestown Regional Medical Center to provide scholarships to incoming UJ students every year.
The Chamber, along with its partners, has been able to provide two $1,000 scholarships for several years. One is a general scholarship and the other is for a student interested in a medical profession. Every year, the Chamber Ambassador Committee raises money for the scholarship fund.
This year, the Past Presidents awarded two scholarships. Matthew Motschenbacher was selected for the general scholarship. He plans to pursue a degree in Business Administration at the University of Jamestown.
Kamden Herzig was selected to receive the medical profession scholarship. He plans to study Exercise Science with a Pre-Physical Therapy focus at the University of Jamestown this fall.
Congratulations to these students! We wish them the best of luck in their future careers.
