A number of Chariho students were honored recently at scholarship breakfast held by Community 2000 Education Foundation at Richmond Country Club.
Scholarship and award recipients and their families. Selected Chariho-area students pursuing higher education received renewable scholarship checks from the nonprofit organization to assist with their college and university expenses.
Community 2000 provides approximately $100,000 each year in scholarships, school-based educational enrichment and improvement grants, and awards to students and educators in the Chariho Regional School District. Further information on how you can apply for a scholarship or help to support local education can be found on the Community 2000 website or by emailing info@community2000.org.
