STEPHENVILLE — Two employees have been awarded scholarships from Chick-fil-A Stephenville after their proficient applications and exemplary work ethic. Taylor Bowden and Gracelyn Geijsel each were given these rewards on Friday, July 12, by Local Operator Lance Bennett, Executive Director Jonathan Powell, and Marketing Director Savanna Graves. Bowden recently graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in general business in hopes of pursuing a career in social work. She has worked for Chick-fil-A Stephenville since its grand opening in January 2023. Geijsel has graduated from Stephenville High School and will be attending Texas Tech University in the fall to pursue a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Chick-fil-A Stephenville is extremely proud of these two incredible team members and we are honored to support them in their future endeavors.
All team members who are enrolled or going to be enrolled in college or university, are currently working Chick-fil-A and remain in good standing at work and school can apply for the annual scholarship. Students can be awarded up to $2,500 annually and can receive a scholarship up to four times. Each year a select group of national recipients are awarded a $25,000 scholarship from Chick-fil-A.
Operator Lance Bennett has awarded over 135 local scholarships in his time with Chick-fil-A.
Chick-fil-A Stephenville employs almost 100 Stephenville residents and we strive to be Stephenville’s most caring company. They are currently hiring more team members in preparation for the upcoming school year. Reach out to Chick-fil-A Stephenville to apply.
