The Texas Rural Education Association (TREA) has announced the winners of their annual Student Scholarships for the 2024-25 school year.
Among the 25 students recognized were Paris ISD’s 2025 Valedictorian Katherine Mathieu and Chisum ISD’s Salutatorian Reagan Frey and Sophia Rhea.
TREA will recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of these 25 exceptional students, who will be honored during the Scholarship Banquet at the annual conference, to be held at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Round Rock, June 22-25.
“TREA would like to thank all of the students who participated in the application process and commend them for their hard work and dedication to their studies. The organization wishes all 2025 graduates the best as they pursue their future endeavors. The association remains committed to helping rural Texas students reach their educational goals. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we are able to give scholarships to deserving students and keep advocating for education. We sincerely thank all our sponsors who make the TREA scholarship program possible.”
