CHARLOTTESVILLE (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Two members of the Charlottesville High School class of 2025 have won major scholarships to support their undergraduate studies. Charlottesville City Schools announces one of only several dozen students nationwide to earn a full ride to the University of Virginia as a Jefferson Scholar is Charlottesville High School senior Ali Bird. And the winner of the top $50,000 scholarship from the Emily Couric Leadership Forum is Charlottesville High School senior Olga Salama.
CHS Principal Dr. Justin Malone calls both Ali and Olga “exceptional students and leaders”, and the entire CHS “staff has been proud to witness each… achieve academically and give back to their community”.
