COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It was another big night for seniors and their parents, as Coldwater High School hosted its annual Local Scholarship Night Friday at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium.
Just over $365,000 in scholarships were awarded to 67 Coldwater High School seniors, five Early Middle College students, and 18 CHS alumni in their pursuit of higher educational goals.
The scholarships were made possible through the generosity of Coldwater families, local chapters of Branch County service clubs and organizations, Century Bank and Trust, Southern Michigan Bank and Trust, the Branch County Community Foundation, the Branch Area Careers Center, and Coldwater Community Schools.

Liam VanWagner was surprised at the end of the evening with a $200,000 Navy ROTC Scholarship, which will provide a full ride education at North Carolina State University and a Naval officer position upon graduation.
