CINCINNATI (WKRC) – More than a decade after his tragic death, Rob Pursley continues to make a positive impact on the lives of young athletes. Pursley, who played basketball at Sycamore High School and later as a walk-on at Bellarmine University, was a financial advisor with a deep passion for the sport.
Pursley was fatally shot outside Mulligans in Hyde Park, but his legacy lives on through scholarships awarded to Sycamore student-athletes. On Saturday, basketball teams took to the court to raise funds for these scholarships.

The tournament began at 11 a.m. and would continue Sunday from noon until 3 p.m., providing an opportunity for the community to support the cause and honor Pursley's memory.
Fore more information on Pursley, the scholarship and how to get involved, people can visit Remembering Rob Purlsey website.
