A pilot scholarship program offering Rogers County residents free technical education at area colleges could become permanent.
Claremore Economic Development has awarded about 200 scholarships to students studying at Northeast Tech and Rogers State University through its Rogers County Technical Training Program since 2023. Meggie Froman-Knight, the organization’s executive director, and Silas Ellis, its talent and workforce development manager, presented a quarterly update on the program to the Rogers County Commissioners Monday.
